Sie ist da! Heute Mittag holten wir Mirjam auf dem Landvetterflughafen ab. Sie wird in unserem Hause für Ordnung sorgen, während wir zum Churchplanting Workshop unterwegs sein werden. Und als wir auf dem Weg vom Flughafen nach Hause noch ein paar Besorgungen machten, trafen wir doch tatsächlich Åke Edwardson persönlich. Bei der Gelegenheit haben wir gleich sein neuestes Buch mitgenommen (in schwedisch…) und uns einen persönlichen Gruß reinschreiben lassen…

Mirjam from our sending church in Ingolstadt has arrived here in Sweden. She will be looking after and caring for Ole, Nils and Svea as Karen and I are away for the CA-workshop on church planting. After picking her up at the airport we went to buy some things in a mall, and -behold!- we met Åke Edwardson personally. He’s a famous Swedish writer, becoming more popular in Germany as well. His crime thrillers are all set in contemporary Gothenburg. We have already read some of his books (in German) and they helped us in getting more into the Swedish culture.
