Rechtzeitig zum Nimbustag haben wir uns noch mal zusammengesetzt und unsere ganzen Gedanken über unser Sein in Schweden in aussagekräftige Sätze gefasst. So hundertprozentig ist es nie, irgendwas fehlt immer noch, und deshalb ist es auch nur unser „endgültiger Entwurf“. Naja, CA selbst hat bis heute nur einen Entwurf… Wie auch immer, hier sind sie, zumindest in Englisch, eine offizielle deutsche Übersetzung wird es wahrscheinlich nie geben, an der schwedischen arbeiten wir noch.
Why are we here?
To follow God’s leading and initiate growing communities of Jesus-followers in the Gothenburg area.
Where are we heading?
Towards a self-propelled movement which creates new spiritual curiosity, exploration and communities of Jesus followers.
We begin in Angered and hope to have a beneficial influence on the greater Gothenburg region.
How do we get there?
By being spiritual witnesses, individually and collectively, through our relationships, service, hospitality, and daily lives.
By cooperating with a broad and diverse network of strategic partners.
By initiating a variety of different “spaces” for people to explore their faith so that many will have the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus.
Just in time for the Nimbusday we put our heads together again to work with our purpose, vision, and mission statements. They were supposed to be some catchy sentences which really describe what’s in our hearts. Well, they’re still a draft. Our final draft. But if we make 40 only with drafts just like CA we’re pretty good, aren’t we?
