H2O soll eher ein Organismus als eine Organisation sein. Natürlich werden wir Strukturen und Programme haben, aber nicht auf Kosten der Beziehungen. Im Gegenteil. Theoretisch würde das wohl fast jede Kirche und Gemeinde so unterschreiben wollen. Tatsache ist aber, dass so manches Gemeindemitglied und mancher Pastor vor lauter Diensten und Mitarbeit kaum noch Luft zum Schnaufen hat, geschweige denn Beziehungen zu pflegen, geschweige denn zu Leuten außerhalb jegliche Gemeindewelten. Deshalb wollen wir den Fokus anders setzen.

H2O is supposed to be an organism rather than an organization. Of course we’ll have structures and some sort of programmes, but they must not be at the expenses of relationships. It’s supposed to be vice versa. Many churches would strongly agree on this, I assume But several researches make clear (most of all by Christian Schwarz) how many churches are stuck in their programmes, having no time left to care for relationships – let alone to some of those outside the church. This is why we want to stay alert in focussing on relationships and people. Never sacrifice relationships for the task!
